This role is multifaceted and to be successful you will need to be able to demonstrate experience, and skill in both breadmaking and also as a pastry chef in a fast paced environment.
Your responsibilities will include:
Baking a wide range of high-quality bakery products
Baking various artisan breads, pastries, savoury and sweet pies, muffins, cookies, cakes, scones.
Decorating cakes from the simple to the more intricate designs used for weddings etc.
Preparing pastry fillings and desserts listed on the menu
Cleaning all equipment, utensils & working area
It would be expected that you would hold as a minimum a Certificate III in Patisserie or Bakery and have had experience in a similar role.
As this role also has a customer service component the ability to communicate in English to communication standards as well as written is essential.
